Job Title: Cable Tray & Metering Welder
Location: Sherman, TX
Pay Rate: $20.98/hr
Shift: 2nd (M-F 2:30PM-11:00PM plus overtime as needed)

What youll do:

Set up, understand, and proficiently operate all welding equipment.

Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.

ID and tag shop orders with the product. Retrieve/enter data into the system.

Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.

Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.

Weld components based on print specifications.

Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of one (1) year MIG and TIG welding

Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Weld Certified

Minimum of 2-3 years MIG/TIG Welding

Minimum of one (1) year utilizing blueprints (AWS weld symbols) and using simple measuring tools

Basic computer skills
