What you will do:
We invite you to apply for a position in our internship program in Lubbock, TX, Milwaukee, WI and York, PA. Our internship provides the pathway to beginning a Supply Chain career with Johnson Controls. You will get to work on site at our manufacturing plant, building your supply chain knowledge while partnering with interns across the United States..
How you will do it:
- Lead a supply chain project with exposure to: Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Lean/CI and/or Supply Planning
- Data collection, spreadsheet creation and data analysis
- Develop, prepare, and present summary reports
- Routine use of Microsoft Office Tools: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
What we look for
RequiredQualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Pursuing a degree inSupply Chain, Applied Procurement, Finance, or Engineering
- Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software, with experience in data entry
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities
- Effective and professional communication and organization skills
- Ability to work in multitask environment
- U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
