Position Details:
Hartford HealthCare St. Vincents Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their Congestive Heart Failure team! The NP will provide care in an inpatient cardiology setting for heart failure patients and occasionally general cardiology patients and will collaborate with the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic and cardiologists. Responsibilities include monitoring heart failure of patients, educating patients about heart failure, performing consults for general cardiology and heart failure. Given the complexity of patient population, including advanced heart failure patients, this role requires critical thinking to best care for our patients.
St. Vincent's cardiology program is recognized regionally and nationally for innovation and outstanding clinical results.
Role: Nurse Practitioner
Location: 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, 06606
Setting: Inpatient with outpatient coverage, cardiology
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours) 5x8s, Monday-Friday day shifts. No weekends, no holidays!
Call schedule: No call.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training: Nurse Practitioner
- Experience: 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner
Preferred:
Experience: 2+ years in cardiology or ICU setting
