    Responsibilities

    What Youll Do

    The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing routine and emergency MRI procedures while providing extraordinary customer service and patient care.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Perform complex tasks associated with operation of high field strength magnets and equipment to produce quality images.
    • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan.
    • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
    • Position patients for MRI scan using immobilization and protective equipment as needed, including starting IVs.
    • Evaluate MRI images for technical quality, exposure, and transmit to PACS.
    • Operate MR scanner to provide cross-sectional images and data for medical treatment and diagnosis.
    • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.

    Qualifications

    What Youll Bring

    • Technical/Associates degree radiography required
    • ARRT required within one year
    • At least 1 year of MRI experience preferred
    • Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility?
    • Good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills?
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills?
