Description
The Leidos Defense Group has an opening for a Project Coordinator at the following locations: JBLE, VA and Newport News, VA.
This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Commands Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS). Project Coordinator supports planning, coordinating, cost analyses, cost estimates, and scheduling meetings and activities to support system test, integration experimentation, and exercises. Conducts analyses of system health, operational availability status. Works with government and contractor teams to identify resources, facilities, documents, and hardware and/or software are available to support tests. Works with contractor team to prepare, review, maintain, and deliver documentation. Ensures contract deliverables are accurate and on-time. Ensures timely/accurate responses to all technical and program inquiries received. Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, standards, or procedures and works with appropriate authorities to resolve conflicts/issues.
This position is for a proposal. We are expecting award and funding of this position in February 2024.
Primary Roles/Responsibilities:
- Manage projects including equipment relocation, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, generators service, cleaning service, Security Plan coordination, and installation of intelligence centric communications systems.
- Ensure project goals are achieved.
- Submit project deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Advise and coordinate with local managers in all phases of project management; Ensure compliance with mission requirements, guidelines, and directives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, safety, and team performance meet user needs.
- Utilize technical knowledge and experience to effectively communicate with other stakeholder.
- Establish effective project communication plans.
- Gather, analyze and summarize relevant information to maintain project status.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS or MA/MS Degree
- Minimum 3 (up to 10) years of experience within industry.
- Must be a U.S. citizen; must possess a current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Must have ability to effectively organize and analyze information, produce professional reports, position papers, briefings, and decision documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous AF DCGS system experience is highly desired.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
