    Maintenance Coordinator

    Position Overview

    The Mai n t e n a n c e C oordinator coordinates and schedules repair and preventive mai n t e n a n c e for all vehicles and equipment including but not limited to tru cks, trailers, forklifts and manufacturing equipment.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle/equipment mai n t e n a n c e repairs.
    • Implement and monitor a preventative mai n t e n a n c e program to ass ure cost effective mai n t e n a n c e .
    • Review daily DVIR's for issues and safety compliance.
    • Ass i s t facilities with specifications for vehicles and equipment and arrange for purchase and delivery of vehicle and equipment.
    • Mai n t ain accurate and complete equipment records in a neat and orderly fashion.
    • Ass i s t in cleaning shop when needed.
    • Ad vise location management on equipment acquisitions and disposals.
    • Monitor, mai n t ain , and update warehouse equipment parts inventory as needed.


    • Train ass ociates in warehouse equipment repair.
    • Other duties as ass i gned by location management.


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Minimum education required - High school diploma or GED. Ad ditional training courses in related field demonstrating extensive level of knowledge and skill may be necessary.
    • Minimum experience required - 3+ years in fleet vehicle mai n t e n a n c e experience.
    • Special skills /training: Vehicular mechanic must hold valid CDL license.
    • Basic understanding of electronics, hydraulics, brakes, welding, and general mai n t e n a n c e . Ad ditional knowledge of ad vanced electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, welding, general mai n t e n a n c e , may be required .
    • Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various levels of staff.
    • Intermediate computer skills.
    • Must be able to operate a pallet jack, forklift and rolling tru ck stock.
    • Physical demands include working out s i de in working conditions that vary depending on seasons . Temperature variations and inclement weather are real aspects of the work environment. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs., spend extended amounts of time sitting, stooping, reaching, bending, climbing, standing or wal king. Overtime may be required .
