    Senior Informatica Developer

    Position Description
    We're on the lookout for a seasoned Sr. Informatica Developer to join our team. In this role you will lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of data integration processes using Informatica PowerCenter.

    Your future duties and responsibilities
    Data Integration: Design, develop, and maintain complex data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into target systems.
    ETL Development: lead and design the development of ETL processes, mappings, and workflows, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation.
    Data Transformation: Develop and implement data transformation logic, including data cleansing, enrichment, and validation, to meet business rules and requirements.
    Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes, SQL queries, and mapping for improved performance and scalability. Monitor and resolve performance bottlenecks.
    Data Quality: Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and error handling mechanisms to maintain data integrity throughout the integration process.
    Metadata Management: Manage metadata associated with ETL processes, maintaining documentation and ensuring accurate lineage and impact analysis.
    Team Leadership and Collaboration: Mentor Jr. developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive data integration initiatives.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree in related field preferred
    7+years performing in the same or similar capacity
    7+ years using Informatica Power Center/Power Exchange
    Hands on experience with IICS (IDMC)
    Hands on experience with Oracle, Teradata and ideally DB2/MVS
    Experience with the Azure cloud platform and Synapse
    Strong SQL Skills
    Knowledge of Hadoop (HDFS)
    Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, shell scripting, Java
    API experience is a plus
    Experience in working in Agile environments

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $190,100.
