    Mechanical Engineer Internship

    Position Overview:

    The Mechanical Engineer Co-op will be directly involved in special projects designed to improve the process efficiency, product quality, and machine productivity. He or she will report directly to the Maintenance, Engineering & Reliability Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    Designing and drawing equipment layouts, piping, and parts.
    Supervising project-related items and equipment/parts installations.
    Maintaining/updating drawings and equipment files.
    Meeting with contractors, vendors, engineers, etc.
    Researching files to obtain information to answer questions relating to various mill equipment and processes.
    Assisting with the development of engineering schedules, budgets, and projects as assigned.
    Assisting the Engineering Department in all other assigned tasks.

    Qualifications:
    • Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Must be proficient with the use of software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
    Division Description:

    The Green Bay Mill Division is a vertically integrated paper mill that manufactures containerboard using 100% recycled furnish.The operation consists of one paper machine responsible for the production of linerboard and medium paper used to manufacture corrugated boxes. This family-owned mill is located near the mouth of the Fox River in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
