The Emergency Room Nurse Director will be joining a diverse, compassionate, patient-focused nursing leadership team that is committed to excellence. This 500+ bed, Level I Trauma center has been providing its community with top-notch medical care for decades. The Nurse Director of Emergency will oversee 200+ full-time employees, responsible for both pediatrics and adult ED and will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Emergency Room RN Director will take on the role of serving as a patient advocate, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, staffing, policy, and procedure, and budget, state, and federal regulations.

It is required that this Emergency Room RN Director has 3-5+ years of director or manager level experience in Emergency Services, and level I or /level II trauma experience. The Emergency Nurse Director must possess a masters degree and trauma certification (TNCC) or be willing to obtain the TNCC certification within one year of hire.
