    Employee Relations Specialist

    Employee Relations works collaboratively to develop and implement strategies to support morale, engagement, and productivity. The Specialist role provides timely and objective advice and counsel to crew across the enterprise, implementing effective resolutions to employee-related issues.

    The Employee Relations Specialist

    • Provides support to employees and management in dealing with general issues.
    • Formulates and recommends program goals in all areas of employee relations to improve morale, motivation and satisfaction.
    • Maintains open communication between management and employees and serves as a mediator for problem resolution.
    • Coaches managers and employees on policies, programs and procedures and ensures adherence with organizational policy and labor law legislation.
    • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    What it takes

    • Minimum of five years related work experience. Employee relations or employment law experience preferred.
    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
    • HR professional certifications preferred. (SHRM CP)
