    Additional Details:

    Prefer travel experience but will accept first time travelers

    COVID policy: Vaccine required, exemption process

    Patient Types:
    IPR: Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Strokes, Multiple trauma, s/p COVID, medically complex/debilitating patients
    Acute: Medically complex/debilitating patients
    Outpatient: Pediatrics (developmental), Neuro specific diagnoses (higher functioning), Spinal patients (surgical & non-surgical)
    Skilled Nursing: similar to IPR

    Required Degree/Certifications:
    ST: Current LA ST license
    Skills required
    Swallow evaluation, Video Swallow Study experience
    Ability to manage a case load independently; experience with above mentioned patient types; working with the multidisciplinary team

    Floating:
    No floating between facilities, unless otherwise specified

    Orientation:
    Attend a general hospital orientation + departmental and site specific orientation
    (2-3 days) will have full case load by the end of the week

    Scheduling:
    Weekend rotation: no weekend coverage for Outpatient; IPR and Acute care usually 1 per month

    Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue (Inpatient) or Professional Dress (Option for Outpatient only)
