    The Nurse Director of Intensive Care UnitICUwill work under the direction of theChief Nursing OfficerCNOto provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care provided for thePCUandICUat the hospital. The Critical Care Unit Nurse Director provides supervisory direction for the development and evaluation of all nursing personnel, while maintaining operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services.

    TheICUIntensive Care Unit Clinical Director will contribute to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational and research efforts. The Nurse Director of Critical Care UnitCCUwill be the front line supervisor for assigning, building and directing teams to provide care to the patients assigned.

    The RN Director of Intensive Care UnitICUwill collaborate with the nursing staff to meet the National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measure Initiatives especially those specific to Critical Care. The Nurse Director ofICUIntensive Care Unit will be proactive in identifying needs of staff and resolves issues to improve patient care and supports nursing leadership directives and initiatives.
