Full-Time, Non-Exempt
This position will be Hybrid.
This position serves under Member Operations, directly supporting the Customer Billing & Enrollment team. This role will be responsible for completing the team's daily workload including enrollment, billing and payment related transaction processing, reconciliation, and research, for all assigned accounts.
This individual will work closely with multiple internal departments to provide excellence in servicing all MVP customers, including member direct bill and employer group accounts. Interacts directly with MVP customers to ensure correct enrollment, billing, payment allocation and collection activity.
Duties include being able to accurately process reconciliations and/or enrollment transactions daily, maintaining weekly and monthly excel spreadsheets, processing terminations, multi-tasking projects and the completion of contact service forms within the department. Must be able to collaborate as a team player or work independently.
Emphasis on discrepancy root cause determination and remediation. Required to meet departmental quality control standards and TATs. Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
Associates degree preferred. Equivalent amount of education and related experience may be considered.
Minimum Experience:
Two years customer service and data entry experience along with education in a business/accounting/math related area. Two years accounts receivable experience (or related field) in a service capacity dealing directly with internal and/or external customers, including two years data entry experience preferred.
Required Skills:- Demonstrated commitment to serving the customer effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and perform a variety of tasks with close attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion in dealing with confidential member, financial, and company-sensitive information.
- Excellent customer service/telephone skills and ability to deal with stressful phone calls in a calm and diplomatic manner.
- Familiarity with healthcare benefits and/or medical terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer experience including MS Excel, MS Word.
Preferred Skills:- 1-2 years relevant insurance, medical or healthcare experience
- Experience with Facets
