Solutions Architect
GDIT is seeking a Chief Technology Architect well skilled in project design and implementation to push project initiatives forward and keep them on track.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. You will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on the Chief Technology Architect joining our team to help support a program at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
HOW THE CHIEF TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT- Lead other IT professionals in a dynamic networking environment.
- Provide analytic problem solving.
- Develop novel IT solutions to meet complex customer challenges.
- Designing and test technology for insertion into existing IT architectures
- Add relevant responsibilities and describe impact.
Requirements:- Education: Bachelors Degree
- STEM focus preferred.
- Certified at the IAT Level III IAW DoD instruction 8570.1m.
- Required Experience: 10 Years
- Must have 10 years' experience with design of systems and networks, systems analysis, and software engineering.
- Required Technical Skills:
- Experience with virtualization, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, thin/zero client technologies, client-server and storage systems.
- Extensive experience with network design.
- Experience with MacAfee HBSS, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
- Must have experience operating and designing classified networks at the Secret and TS/SCI levels. Experience with tactical Military Intelligence systems, specifically the Distributed Common Ground System Army (DCGS-A) mobile.
- Familiarity with procedures for disposition, transport, handling, and maintenance of equipment operating at levels of security classification of Secret and above.
- Security Clearance Level:
- Must have a DoD Top Secret and able to obtain an SCI
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Superior communication skills both with subordinates and high-level customers.
- Program/Project management experience.
- Preferred Skills:
- Resumes demonstrating the following certifications Cisco Certified Network Assistant, Cisco Certified Network Professional, VMWare Certified Professional, NetApp Certified Administrator, NetApp Certified Implementation Storage Engineer, Microsoft Server 2012, and Microsoft Server 2016 will be evaluated more favorably.

- This opportunity is an on-site position at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Fort Huachuca is located near Sierra Vista, AZ about 1.5 hours south of the Tucson airport.
