    Job Schedule: Part Time
    Standard Hours: 24
    Job Shift: Shift 2
    Shift Details: Three week rotating schedule. WK 1 Mon 330-1130, tues & sat 4p-12a. WK2 & WK 3 Mon 330-110, wed & Fri 4p-12a. With call and holiday rotating coverage.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for performing all technical aspects of Radiologic Technology exams according to department procedures and protocols. Processes requisitions and records patient information.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION: Graduate of a JCERT accredited program for Radiologic Technologists.

    EXPERIENCE: No additional experience necessary beyond clinical internship. One year experience in Radiologic Technology preferred.

    LICENSURE & CERTIFICATION: Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Current State of Connecticut Radiographer license or, if a new graduate, pending State of Connecticut Radiographer license. BLS within 6 months of hire.

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

    Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use). Working knowledge of Radiologic Technology. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments, employees, physicians and managers. Must be organized, flexible and a team player. Ability to work in a stressful environment. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong commitment to customer service. Requires the ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction. Requires the ability to take the appropriate action in response to changes, circumstances or problems. Requires the ability to recognize problem situations and refer them to the appropriate staff member.
