    In this role you have the unique opportunity to take advantage of a fantastic work schedule - working 4, 10 hour shifts a week (10 am - 8 pm) allowing you to enjoy an exceptional work life balance while still climbing the leadership ladder.

    Key Responsibilities: As the Assistant Nurse Manager for Labor and Delivery, you will collaborate closely with the Nurse Manager to:

    • Assure the delivery of top-quality clinical services in alignment with hospital standards.
    • Be a role model, coach, and mentor to staff, fostering a positive work environment.
    • Oversee department operations, including goal setting, budget management, and personnel supervision.
    • Collaborate with the Health Care Team to ensure optimum age-appropriate patient care.
    • Uphold hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory/accreditation standards.

    Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

    • Current NY State License.
    • BSN degree or enrollment in a BSN program with graduation plans by specified dates.
    • Minimum of 2 years relevantleadership experience in an acute care labor and delivery settings (Charge, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, etc.)
