Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Dialysis Equipment Technician for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

* You will provide preventive maintenance, installation, calibration, electrical safety test, and repair of Hemodialysis equipment.

* You will complete written documentation of all testing and repair results and operate a computerized equipment management program to store these results.

* You will assist the Renal Department with education and training of dialysis personnel in water treatment systems.

* You will perform monthly water cultures/LAL and report to Director appropriate action plan in a timely manner.

* You will perform equipment disinfection as per department policy.

* You will maintain data for the department QA and CQI as related to water quality and safety.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Associates Degree or equivalent experience is preferred with additional Biomedical Equipment/Electronics Technical Training.

* A minimum of 3 years experience is required

* Technical Training Class for Fresenius Hemodialysis System is required
