    Sodexo Government Servicesis seeking an experienced Food Production Manager 3. This dynamic leader willbe based in Fort George Meade, Maryland at high profile government agency. Our preferred candidate will have a demonstrate successful history of Team Building, Leadership and Contract Dining experience.

    The Production Manager will have over-siteto 3 manned locations and 5 micro markets. The units are located outside of the main base. Five of the units are located 10 minutes from the main base with the remaining units located approximately 20 minutes from the main base. The units are open 24/7 breakfast & lunch and unmanned after lunch. Typical work week is Monday-Friday.

    Must be a US Citizen, and be able to pass a comprehensive Federal Special Background Investigation (to include a polygraph).

    • have oversight of day-to-day operations;
    • deliver high quality food service;
    • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
    • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
    • develop strategic plans;
    • create a positive environment; and
    • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

    • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
    • has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
    • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
    • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
    • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
