Facilities Engineering Intern

Vanguard's Global Workforce Experience (GWx) team touches the lives of every Vanguard employee every day. As a Facilities Engineering Intern you will learn about how corporate offices function on a day-to-day basis.

In this internship you will:

• Develop a thorough understanding of how the buildings operate by field surveys, building automation systems and review of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-protection drawings.
• Shadow operating engineers performing preventative maintenance, special construction, and event-response tasks.
• Work with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering lead to support the departments documentation and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize resources, energy, and processes.
• Present ideas and collaborate with staff.

What it takes:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Experience or knowledge of electrical engineering, construction management, or facilities management

• Must be local to our Malvern, PA campus
