Senior Human Resources Coordinator
Job Summary
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will support the administrative functions of human resources that directly affect Team Members.Job Description
- Experience Required: 6 months to 1 year.
- Experience Desired: New hire Orientation and Onboarding Skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and good understanding of HR concepts & policies.
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent with 18 months+ of additional training

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation of new Team Members.
- Organize and facilitate new hire orientations, which includes creating name tags, scheduling new hires for orientation, reviewing policies and procedures, and completing new hire paperwork and I-9 verifications; coordinate store hiring needs and assist with recruiting activities, including position creation, job postings, phone screenings, interview scheduling, employment offers, submitting pre-employment background checks and drug tests; conduct new hire follow-up discussions as directed.
- Screen, direct, and respond to incoming telephone calls and initiate outgoing telephone calls in a professional, timely and confidential manner to ensure customer is satisfied and accurate information is relayed.
- Conduct meetings in a professional manner and ensure that details of the meeting are appropriately managed.
- Coordinate (with Executive Search Firms and HR) regarding select, high level employee interviews.
- Sort, distribute, prioritize and appropriately handle incoming paper and electronic mail.
- Create and maintain a filing system to ensure information is readily available and that sensitive information is appropriately secured.
- Provide administrative support to Executives, ensuring efficient operation of the department and efficient flow of information.
- Coordinate/research/format/report/analyze information (of a highly confidential nature) at the direction of the Executive.
- Adhere to and understand the collective bargaining agreement (if applicable) in order to be knowledgeable of vacation and holiday policies and procedures.
- Follow up on I-9 verifications for Team Members (I-9 certification required).
- Assist with random drug testing (per established policy).
- Assist fellow Confidential HR Coordinator(s) as needed.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
