A leading acute care hospital located in southeastern New York is now searching for an experienced RN Coordinator Quality Assurance to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This acute care facility was founded over one hundred years ago and today houses nearly 400 licensed beds and offers a wide variety of medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical center provides a number of patient care services including behavioral health, oncology services, cardiopulmonary and vascular services, emergency and critical care, radiology services, maternity and pediatric care, wound and home care, and much more.

Reporting to the Director of Quality, the RN Coordinator Quality Assurance will monitor and improve inpatient and outpatient medical record documentation, ensures compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards, helps to educate physician and nursing teams, and works to mitigate any financial or public reporting ramifications. This is a full-time Monday-Friday opportunity with an 8:00am-4:30pm daily schedule.

What Makes You Awesome:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing BSN or Masters degree in Social Work MSW
• Experience with hospital based quality assurance / performance improvement
• Working knowledge of process improvement and data aggregation
