Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• * You will deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab Department during the designated shift.
• * You will monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organizations vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcome that contributes to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• * Associate Degree in Nursing is required. BSN is highly preferred.
• * Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
• * Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
• * ACLS and PALS are required.
• * 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience required in Critical Care, ICU, ER, Acute Inpatient setting. Charge experience is highly preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelors Degree
