Working in a co-leadership structure, the Assistant Nurse Director NICU will work in tandem with the Assistant Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery and the Assistant Nurse Director of Postpartum. These Women and Children's Services Nurse Leaders will curate a vision for this vital department and work together to achieve long-term goals.

The 60+ bed Level IV NICU is one of the most acute of its kind internationally. Candidates with experience working in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting will earn quick interviews. This unit typically sees patients ranging in age from 23 weeks to 37 weeks gestation, as well as infants with genetic, pulmonary, and neurological disorders. The unit also provides ECMO services and Neonatology support for high-risk patients being delivered at the hospital. This unit is large in scale and sees infants transported from approximately 40 regional community hospitals in surrounding states.

Reporting to a supportive Executive Nurse, the Assistant RN Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will oversee the esteemed NICU that treats more than 800 patients each year. They will be responsible for the planning, staffing, management, and evaluating operations within the unit. With 200+ direct reports, the Assistant Nurse Director NICU will establish collaborative relationships with members of the organization to ensure the highest level of patient care.
