Job Description:
Is a specialist who has been certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists whose fundamental purpose is to enhance the quality of life for patients and families through the use of music. Determine and utilize music therapy approaches which effectively aid in the restoration, maintenance and improvement of psychosocial, physical and spiritual health. Serves as a role model within the components of clinician, researcher, and consultant as it relates to the field of music therapy.
Education Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in music therapy or graduate level music therapy equivalency degree from a college or university program approved by the American Music Therapy Association.

Completion of an AMTA approved clinical internship in music therapy.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure:

Board certification or eligibility to take the examination by the Certification Board of Music therapists.

Maintains Board Certification by meeting AMTA continuing education criteria.

Has valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidates experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
