Job Summary and Qualifications

• The Trauma Program Coordinator works with hospital and department leadership to assure optimal trauma patient care services.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and national standards for Trauma Center designation.
• Aims to achieve successful outcomes for all care and programs associated with the trauma program and serves as operational director for internal/external program initiatives.
• Assumes responsibility for the clinical coordination and consultation regarding trauma care across the continuum.
• Works as a team member ensuring high levels of communication with patients.
• Consults with nursing leadership as needed to achieve desired nursing outcomes.
• Provides/coordinates clinical education for hospital, EMS providers and community, as needed
• Participates in local and state trauma organizations

• Missouri RN Licensure; BLS; ACLS or ALS w/in 6 months; TNCC within 6 months;
  

  TCRN within 1 year

• 3+ years Emergency or Critical Care experience
  

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
