The impact you can have
You will be accountable for aiding in the improvement, automation, and expansion of the Retail Support Distribution Center network through data mining and project support. The evolution of the RSC network is critical to the success of our supply chain.
What youll do
- Provide general support and recommendations to the engineering team through data mining and analysis.
- Assist Sr. Project Engineers on infrastructure projects and equipment.
- Assist in the purchase of warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate on facility design, best practices, and process improvement.
- Manage small-scale projects as assigned.
- Ad-hoc reporting, support, and projects as assigned.
- Research problems and make recommendations to Director of Engineering and Sr. Project Engineers from statistics and data analysis.
What you need to succeed
- Strategic thinker with hands-on style to deliver practical and effective solutions
- Well-organized and comfortable with prioritizing and managing multiple priorities and tasks
- A Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Industrial Engineering or similar engineering degree
- 2-3 years of experience in Warehousing/Supply Chain Management or related field
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, and relevant experience in data extraction, reporting, and modeling
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and organization and team building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point are required
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- Hunger for driving results and meeting KPIs
- Ability to travel up to 25%
