    What Will You Do

    • Provide engineering, operations and sustainment for Palo Alto Firewall environment at the customer facility.

    • Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts/Bulletins (IAVA/B) related to Palo Alto products and develop and implement remediation plans.

    • Coordinate outages with functional customers and customer leadership.

    • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for routine and non-routine procedures that assist in the management and operation of the firewall operating environments.

    • Perform any required re-accreditation actions such as DISA STIG review, OS upgrades, vulnerability scan remediation, and document various required lists (PPSM, H/W, and S/W) during the networks accreditation cycle.

    • Maintain accurate equipment inventory by serial number, model number, barcode, and location.

    • Recommend changes to the government for improvement in the operating and/or security environment.

    • Assist IA network defense personnel in any investigation consisting of a network breach or practice dangerous to the security posture of the network.

    Your Areas of Knowledge & Expertise(job qualifications)

    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 or more years of related work experience; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

    • 4 or more years of demonstrated experience in Firewalls, VPN technologies, and Remedy incident management tool.

    • Proficient with: MS VISIO, VLANs, VPN, GRE, subnetting, Netflow, and various other networking protocols.

    • Proficient with various network management tools (i.e. Solarwinds, iPerf, Wireshark, etc).

    • Proven experience with various firewall rules and ACLs.

    • Proven experience with applying various security standards (i.e. DISA STIGs, ACAS scans, etc.).

    • Proficiency with TACACs+, data packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability analysis and remediation

    • Proven experience with various routing and networking protocols such as: EIGRP, BGP, SNMP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, ARP,dot1Q, VLANs, VPN, GRE, subnetting, NAT, Netflow

    • Experience with data packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability analysis & remediation

    • Up to 10% travel may be required.

    Clearance Required

    • An active DoD Top Secret/SCI level of clearance(to be considered, must have currently)

    Certifications Required

    • A Current IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570-M Baseline Certification (e.g. Security+ce or equivalent) or the ability to obtain within 30 days from date of offer of acceptance

    • A current Palo Alto firewall certification

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
