A highly respected New York City Hospital has a unique opportunity for an OR Nurse Manager to join its progressive team.

This 600+ bed organization offers innovative diagnostic treatment options within a trusting and compassionate environment. This hospital is recognized for performance and their commitment to community-focused patient care. The highly ranked Healthcare System has fifty specialty centers, an extensive Ambulatory Care Network, and one of the busiest Level 1 Trauma Centers in the region.

This OR Nurse Manager will join an experienced team and help oversee the OR at this busy level 1 trauma center. The OR Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all Charge Nurses, Staff RN's, and other ancillary staff in the department. Responsibilities include assisting with proper staffing and budgeting, assisting with the hiring and orientation of new employees, helping to ensure nurses and other staff are following established procedures and protocols as it relates to patient care, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

This OR Nurse Manager will have previous clinical experience in an OR setting as well as previous leadership experience (charge or supervisor). Nurses with their MSN or CNORs will earn quick interviews. The OR Nurse Manager will work closely with the RN Director of Surgical and Perioperative Services as well as PACU and PAT RN Managers. A Surgical Services Nurse Educator is also available for support.
