    The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.

    HOW OUR SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
    • Provides technical guidance for monitoring information systems operations.
    • Provide technical solutions using business solutions such as MS Teams, M365, and SharePoint.
    • Plan, design, implement, and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Authority.
    • Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
    • Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
    • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
    • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
    • Maintain, configure, and secure Exchange servers, print servers, and file shares.
    • Provision, maintain, secure, and deprovision user accounts.
    • Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
    • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
    • Responds to computer security breaches and viruses


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):
    • Security Clearance Level: Secret
    • Required Certifications: Security+ CE certification; AZ-104 - Microsoft Azure Admin or Intermediate level industry certification from one of the following: Microsoft, CompTIA, AWS, VMware, Helix, SolarWinds or relevant technology.
    • Education: AS/AA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related IT discipline.
    • Required Experience & Technical Skills:
    • 3 years of experience in a client-server environment.
    • 4 years of concurrent experience in server systems administration and analysis.
    • Experience working with appropriate complex systems administration, database administration, or data center maintenance.
    • Experience working with complex system implementations and organizational processes to include maintaining system documentation.
    • Experience maintaining the integrity and security of servers and systems.
    • Experience evaluating vendor products, and making recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinating installation and providing backup recovery.
    • Demonstrated experience to developing and monitoring policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
    • Experience in developing and implementing testing strategies and documenting results.
    • Location: Onsite in Arlington, VA
