The Oncology Service Line RNwill join a 100+ bed acute care hospital that has been compassionately serving its community for almost 40 years. The hospital offers many services to its patients including orthopedics, infusion center, cardiopulmonary, and many specialty clinics throughout the community. The Executive and Leadership team within the hospital has a positive vision for the service of the facility. Its main mission is to provide excellence in clinical care. The Oncology Service Line RN will report to the Oncology Nurse Manager. This RN will provides direct and indirect patient care in the oncology unit setting. The Oncology Service Line RN will communicate with physicians, nurse managers, and co-workers, as appropriate about changes in the patients clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. This person must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
