    Position: Mechanical Technician

    Mechanical Skills and Abilities
    • Possess a good mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment.
    • Ability to use hand tools properly and safely.
    • Understands different units of measurement, SAE vs Metric systems.
    • Comprehends mechanical principles and practices.
    • Possesses basic knowledge of pneumatic schematics.
    • Can apply good equipment troubleshooting techniques to solve automated equipment issues.
    • Possesses good mechanical aptitude and can apply this to daily work being performed.
    • Ability to solve basic mathematical problems.

    Electrical Skills and Abilities
    • Possess a general knowledge and respect for electrical wiring and principles in industrial equipment.
    • Uses electrical safe work practices and LOTO procedures.
    • Possesses basic knowledge of electrical schematics, electrical principles, and can apply equipment troubleshooting techniques to solve equipment issues.
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot using an electrical multi-meter.
    • Plus for knowledge of PLC systems and industrial robotics.


    Essential Functions
    • Demonstrates continued growth in mechanical, electrical, and a general understanding of equipment.
    • Demonstrates ability to grasp new concepts and continue to grow in maintenance knowledge/experience.
    • Perform mechanical assembly and installation functions.
    • Proven experience in robotic and automated equipment
    • Can troubleshoot problems utilizing electrical/mechanical knowledge with little to no support.
    • Identifies and communicates problem situations/concerns.
    • Utilizes technical resources when investigating problems or implementing new technology.
    • Proven experience in effective time management.
    • The ability to interact with customers including, but not limited to, working with our customers to resolve and satisfy project issues and concerns.
    • Willingness to work weekends, split shifts, daily overtime, and holidays, as needed.

    • Education: Completion of high school or equivalent.? Further education consisting of electrical/mechanical is desirable.


    Travel Required: Minimum ability to travel 50%. Locations will vary based on customer requirements and location but may involve overnight travel. Valid driver's license required.

    Experience: 1-3 years working in a manufacturing/production environment.
