    Professional Case Management is looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our growing team based out of our HQ here in Denver, Colorado! You will manage accounts receivable and perform a variety of general ledger accounting functions related to workers comp and private insurance claims billing. You will get the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization as well as working closely with the Department of Labor.

    Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability

    • Work with the Billing and Authorization departments as well as the Department of Labor to resolve billing issues and facilitate the timely re-billing of claims.
    • Research all denials and payment discrepancies to determine necessary plan of action.
    • Ensure accurate and timely posting and reconciliation of all remittances and cash receipts.
    • Closely monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on aged claims.
    • Prepare summary spreadsheets, aging reports and batch files for review.
    • Complete ad hoc reports for management team as needed
    • Prepare journal entries and perform a variety of general ledger, reconciliation and analysis functions.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all client information.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
    • Required minimum of two (2) years of overall general accounting experience, including accounts payable.
    • Intermediate computer skills for functions of data entry and basic word processing.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Advanced analytical and follow up skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

    The typical base pay range for this role is USD $39,520 - $56,160 per year.

    Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
