Senior Program Analyst
Description
We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst to create innovative solutions for the high-powered and influential Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Administration and Executive Secretariaton the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC). In this role, you will employ your significant skills in such areas as time and task management, critical thinking and problem solving, the ability to communicate complicated problems in a concise manner, and solving complex problems using available tools.
Specific responsibilities for the role include acting independently to:
Maintain schedules.
Prepare communications, analyses, and reports for senior executives regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.
Gather data from various stakeholders around the FAA.
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention.
Solve complex multi-discipline problems with and for clients that impact strategic program goals and results.
Plan logistics for meetings and conferences.
Provide recommendations for business process improvements.
Typical education / experience:
Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree and 10-12 years of prior relevant experience.
Basic qualifications:
Ability to multi-task the tracking of project schedule development, project control, risk management practices/issues, and project documentation processing/archiving between multiple simultaneous projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Project.
Excellent customer service skills necessary to interact with Senior and Executive level management, and to foster an environment of cooperation between different departments and co-workers.
Ability to work with, manage, and maintain information stored in a Knowledge Sharing Network (KSN)/SharePoint site(s).
Expert knowledge of government practices, advanced techniques and solutions to develop new standards, processes, and solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with preparing briefing packages for Senior and Executive level management.
Previous experience as a high-level team member supporting the FAA.
The ideal candidate for this position will be highly effective at accomplishing the above tasks while also implementing creative solutions to unexpected situations that may arise. This candidate must be highly proficient at managing multiple tasks at once and communicating progress to achieve expected deadlines. Additionally, this candidate will have a keen sense for process improvements and act as a self-starter to implement these changes. Maintaining active communication with team members to efficiently accomplish tasks and receiving real-time feedback to implement effectively are vital to this role; therefore, strong verbal and written communication skills are critical. A successful Program Analyst will actively build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Original Posting Date:

Pay Range:
Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
