    Job Summary: This position managesthe day-to-day operation of Hurricane Harbor, as well ascoordinating all training programswithin the department. The ManagerialSupervisorwill beresponsible for establishing and conducting a daily audit program for the waterpark.This position is accountable for delivering a premium guest experience while enforcing all park policies and procedures.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing day-to-day operationsof Hurricane Harbor
    • Coordinating all training conducted within the waterpark including but not limited to: Aquatics General Certification, Standard Operating Procedure Training, ECIS First Aid course, Ellis & Associates ILTP, and In-service training
    • Training, certifying, and evaluatingsafety standards set by Six Flags andEllis & Associates ILTP
    • Maintainingcertification paperwork, database, and all correspondence regarding training and certification ofteam members
    • Organizingand auditingteam members daily
    • Adheringto bio-hazardous waste disposal procedures and performing all related duties in compliance with the fecal matter exposure policy
    • Completingand reviewing all required supervisory paperwork daily basis
    • Participatingin Ellis & Associate review sessions during operational risk management audits
    • Preparing mock emergency drills with the Operations Manager to assess overall water park readiness for aquatic emergencies
    • Enforcing all Six Flags policies
    • Assisting in other areas of the Aquatics and Rides Department
    • Performing other incidental and related duties as required
    • Assist with other duties as assigned

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • At least 18 years old
    • CPR instructor certification and Ellis & AssociatesILTP Instructor license
    • Must have the ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language
    • Previous lifeguard experience required
    • Previous Aquatic management experience
    • Paperwork management and organizational skills
