Primary Location Salary Range:

$39.32 - $65.54 / hour, based on education & experience

This technical leadership role will help to provide direction and oversight for our dedicated clinical staff for this critical community hospital in Sterling, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge as a generalist and will have excellent chemistry background. They will also have a drive for mentoring and growing employees to continually provide quality diagnostic outcomes. Hands on working knowledge in a clinical lab setting is necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides general operational supervision under the direction of the director/manager to assigned personnel. Responsible for organizing, directing and controlling workflow aspects of the section in order to improves processes to provide high quality and cost effective services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
Four (4) years training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
MLS or Specialty Certification.
One (1) year of supervisory experience.
