    RWJBH is seeking a Cook in the Dietary Management Department at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time, day position (40hours/week).

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Assists with preparation of hot foods for patients and staff.
    • Assists in maintaining standards of quality, sanitation, portion control, presentation and storage
    • Relieves in absence of Chef.
    • Able to process menu selections for all diet restrictions based on diet order
    • Will also have to visit patient rooms to obtain menu selection.
    • Will provide proper portions and nutrient requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to follow instructions.
    • Great Knife Skills.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • One year health care cooking experience required
