?????Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice, within the limits of state and federal laws and corporate policies. Manage and maximize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by monitoring the pharmacy budget, minimizing or altogether avoiding unauthorized overtime, performing necessary pharmacy staff training and development, providing excellence in customer service, managing prescription pricing and generic utilization, controlling pharmacy inventory, and providing/implementing/participating in corporate approved clinical services. Essential Job Functions- Act as a role model for the pharmacy team by performing tasks of a staff pharmacist, managing customer complaints, and reducing customer wait times.
- Develop, execute, supervise, and promote sales initiatives in tandem with the division pharmacy department.
- Fulfill responsibilities of a registered pharmacist in compliance with legal, state, and company requirements.
- Guide pharmacy team for inventory management to avoid overstock, fill on-arrival prescriptions, and follow proper ordering procedures.
- Monitor profitability of third-party or insurance, handle audits and issues, complying with company's controlled substance procedures.
- Manage team scheduling to control labor costs and maintain mandatory pharmacy records as per laws and company policies.
- Meet or surpass budgeted labor, volume, inventory, and sales goals through effective management.
- Promote public health initiatives, handle, disease state management services, and independent business travel if necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy - License must be in good standing.
- 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary
- Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training
