The new Inpatient Nurse Educator will join a vibrant community hospital that has earned acclaim for excellence in patient care and the breadth of services offered. Reporting to and supporting the Professional Development and Clinical Education Director, the Inpatient Nurse Educator will play an integral role in hospital. This person will get the opportunity to work a wide array of nurses across Inpatient Nursing disciplines and departments.

Supporting a robust Education program, the Inpatient Nurse Educator will have the opportunity to develop and support some of the hospitals most critical educational programs. Beyond the standard BLS and orientation schedule, this Educator will have the opportunity to specialize their knowledge and spend time with the departments and patient service concepts that interest them.

This is a great role for an experienced Inpatient RN or Nursing Supervisor whos worked in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency, or Critical Care Nursing. Many Nurse Educators find this is a great path toward leadership or management. The right person may be able to make a higher base by taking on the Medical Surgical Supervisor role in addition to unit-based Education.
