Industrial Maintenance Technician

Plastipak Extrusion Maintenance Technicians perform, monitor and evaluate preventative maintenance plans for assigned lines and continually work towards improving equipment and processes.

You Will

• Perform maintenance for HDPE extrusion manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations

• Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures

• Participates in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution

• Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures

• Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• Ability to work overtime, as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years in Plastics industry performing maintenance

• Able to read and interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics

• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot & problem solve

• Experience with 3 phase electrical

• PLC troubleshooting knowledge

• Desire to be a productive team memberin a positive work environment

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without a reasonable accommodation

• Own tools to bring and use daily (tool list will be provided)
