Job Description:
ProAmpac is currently seeking a Human Resource Generalistfor the Rocky Mount, VA Facility. As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR duties such as: policy implementation, and employee relations.
- Support the execution of the performance management process
- Assist in talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention of ProAmpac employees while following all federal, local and company requirements
- Organize, maintain and update employee files including HRIS systems
- Provide support for ProAmpac total rewards, compensation and benefit programs
- Ensure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy
- Support ProAmpac culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication

- Have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with strong problem-solving skills.
- Take pride in and care with confidential information and handle sensitive situations with the appropriate amount of discretion.
- Are capable of gaining others' trust and building a strong relationship with management in a consultant and advisor role.
- Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in HR of at least 8 years.
- Have at least 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Are an expert in federal and state laws and have working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
