    Senior Pension Administrator

    Senior Pension Administrator

    Retirement Services is responsible for managing the pension and 401(k) plans for the ACE organization, which includes over 15,000 participants in the 401(k) plan and over 22,000 participants in the pension plan.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the administration of the Club Pension Plan and to complete and review pension benefit calculations.

    • Respond to questions, problems or exceptions to benefit policies and procedures, analyze situations, and recommend appropriate action to take.

    • Interprets Club Pension Plan policies and procedures according to internal plan documents and ERISA laws and responds to requests for information from employees, management and outside vendors and consultants.

    • Answers a variety of questions regarding the retirement process.

    • Communicates ERISA, IRC and Club Pension Plan rules, regulations, and policies.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience with a defined benefit plan including vast knowledge of defined benefit administration rules.

    • Experience working closely with outside actuaries on analysis, risk assessment, legal/regulatory and Pension Plan compliance.

    • Experience working with auditors and legal counsel

    • Excellent communication skills as this position will be working with all levels of management as well as plan participants

    • Strong vendor management skills including contracting, metrics, issue resolution, and driving continuous improvement.

    • Mathematical proficiency and ability to perform, review and analyze detailed/complex pension calculations.

    • Experience working with Pension-related QDRO filings

    • Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel and Word.

    • Microsoft Access experience is a plus.

    • Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and complete duties with a sense of urgency.

    The starting pay range for this position is:

    $94,900.00 - $126,500.00
