Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license prior to placement start.

This role will require floating to multiple units

Candidates must live at least 100 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Staff are required to work one extra shift every 3 weeks during periods of high census.

Level 4 NICU unit that has a variation of patients.

Travelers that do best on this unit have at least level 3 experience but ideally level 4.

Will care for 23 weeks up to 1 year olds.

Traveler will be first to float and will float to the PICU, CCU and Med/Surg floors.

When floated to other ICU units nurse will typically get assigned infants however when floated to Med/Surg unit nurse may get older patients.

Traveler will need to have experience with similar patient populations.

Highly surgical NICU unit.

Common diagnoses consist of PPHN, bowel perf or NEC, BPD, Tracheostomy/G-button evals, pre op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, hydrocephalus, and many more.

Do not accept former perm employees as travel
