    Where You Will Work

    Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Shipping Management
    • Process and prepare work orders for shipments, shipping documentations, and work within customer portals.
    • Direct and monitor the flow/progress of parts from manufacturing to shipment according to plan.
    • Provide guidance and ongoing training to all Shipping Associates
    • Prioritize, distribute, and monitor the work of the Associates to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly in a timely manner.
    • Identify and discuss errors with Associates to provide the opportunity for continuous improvement and accountability to expectations.
    • Motivate Shipping Associates and encourage teamwork, pride, and accountability.
    • Ensure productivity targets are achieved smoothly and promptly.
    • Collaborate with internal and external departments on any shipping-related issues and paperwork.

    Transportation Management
    • Coordinate outside carriers while ensuring on-time delivery, customer satisfaction for the service and cost effectiveness.

    Outside Processing Management
    • Coordinate Outside Processing Operations (OSP) and collaborate with providers to ensure quality, on-time processes are performed and do not cause delays in on-time deliveries to customers.

    Raw Material, Component and Finished Good warehouse Management.
    • Ensure accuracy of raw material inventory including the onsite receiving and issuing of raw materials
    • Manage the component warehouse and finish good warehouse through receiving and issuing of the components and finished goods from their respective warehouse.

    Other responsibilities
    • Drive continuous improvement within the logistics function.
    • Maintain integrity of the warehouses and WIP in the ERP system (JDE) in partnership with planning
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Experience
    • A minimum of HS Diploma or equivalent
    • 3+ years of manufacturing experiences
    • Strong computer skills including ERP, Microsoft Office tools, experience in Excel including knowledge of Pivot Table and VLOOKUP
    • Have a desire for continuous improvement and growth.
    • Ability to work within a deadline under pressure ad handle interruptions.
    • Ability to work effectively through others.
    • Experience creating standard operating procedures, work instructions and/or other training tools.
