A new and great opportunity for an Med-SurgNurse has opened up at a Critical Access facility in SoutheasternNew Mexico. This is a 50+ bed acute-care hospital with state-of-the-art technology and an amazing team of 400+healthcareprofessionals to work with. Not to mention, they are a not for profit facility that has been serving the community for ages. They offer abroad range of medical services from cardiac services, to orthopedic surgeries.

The Med-SurgNurse will be stationed in a fast moving, high-case volume floor being one of the highest needs in the nursing field. They will report directly up to the Manager of Med-Surgas well as the Director at certain times assisting all patients needs from pneumoniato traumatic brain injuries (CHF). It is important to note that this nurse must be ready to be on their feet in these pressing times and express compassion with each and every patient. Working alongside 10-20 other Med-SurgRN's, communication and completing tasks in a timely manner is extremely important. This team considers each other family, and will always have each others back!

Responsibilities of Med-SurgNurse may vary, but will include;

• Monitoring each patients vital signs
• Providing education and support to each family and patient
• Administering medications, and helping with medical dressings
• Admitting new patients, and planning and coordinating discharges
• Assisting in post-treatment plans for patients

An RN license isrequired in the state of New Mexico to being considered for the Med-SurgNurse opening with thisfacility as well as previous experience or practice in an acute-care facility (college graduated encouraged to apply).
