At this medium-sized hospital, the Director of Radiologywill be welcomed by acohort that emphasizes consistency, innovation, and teamwork. Along with introducing inventive processes to this department, the Director of Imaging will facilitate interdepartmental relationships, collaborate with other department leaders, and maintain fiscal budget oversight to ensure the highest level of patient safety is achieved. The Director of Radiology will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

A Director of Radiology with prior leadership experience in a hospital setting, combined with their Certified and Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification, will expedite the interview process. This Imaging leader will oversee the daily operations of the Radiology support staff (front office and tech assistants) and imaging modalities, ensuring staffing levels, workflow efficiency, and continuous performance enhancement. Additionally, the Imaging Director will engage in interviewing potential hires, providing training and orientation to new staff members, and, when needed, participating in disciplinary procedures.
