Maintenance Tech 1st & 2nd Shift

Position Title: Maintenance Tech - 1st + 2nd Shift

Wage: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 8-hour shift


QPS Employment Group is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated, Maintenance Tech to add to our client's growing team! This is a direct hire position that offers monthly incentive bonuses. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support the achievement of the companys business goals and objectives.

Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Install, maintain, and upgrade production machines and the plant facilitys equipment.

- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

- Perform basic electrical skills including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of motors, blown fuses, tripped breakers, and faulty wiring.

- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Maintenance Tech Requirements:

- High school diploma/GED.

- Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred.

- 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong mechanical, pneumatic, fabrication and industrial skills preferred.
