    Oncology Unit - Registered Nurse

    Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

    Experience:

    24 months of role experience is required.

    12 months of Oncology Unit experience is required.

    Requirements:

    Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

    This role may require floating to additional units and locations

    Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

    COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

    Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

    Additional Details:

    A minimum of 12 months acute care experience in the United States is required. Unit experience must include 12 continuous months.

    The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Oncology patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.

    The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
