    Assistant Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery

    A busy urban medical center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to be an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Labor and Delivery Unit during the day shift. The Labor and Delivery Assistant Nurse Manager will work two shifts of 12 hours week one, three shifts of12 hours week two - this is 60 hours per 2 week pay period or 30 hours per week on blended average position.

    This large teaching hospital is a flagship medical center for one of the most respectedhealthcareorganizations in California. The Women's Services and Labor and Delivery department deliver over 5,000 newborns annually and care for many high risk patients. The Assistant Nurse Manager will work closely with theAntepartum, Labor and Delivery,NICUandMotherbabydepartments to ensure fluid patient flow and cohesive patient-centered care is delivered during the nursing shift. The Labor and Delivery unit Assistant Nurse Manager has direct reports - floor Staff Nurses and Techs report to this Asst. Nurse Manager. The Asst. Manager reports to the department manager. The L & DANMwill have approximately 20 direct reports.

    The Assistant Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will feel supported professionally in this position.
