CNC Machinist

Our client, an industry leader in automation, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and edit CNC programs, proficiency in the use of manual and CNC machines, and a certificate of completion of Machine Shop program at an accredited school or equivalent machining experiencewhich will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Sherman, TX

Pay Range: $20.66 to $24.97 per hourplus $1.00 shift differential (2nd shift 2 pm to 10 pm)

Whats the Job?

• Produce parts of a high degree of complexity, meeting all specifications and tolerance required from work orders an d shop orders.
  
• Self-inspection of all detail parts to ensure operations conforms to requirements.
  
• Able to operate any machine, including manual and CNC machines.
  
• Coordinate setups and programming issues with machine shop programmers.
  
• Report status of work using computer input, bar code, or other devices as required.
  

Whats Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
  
• Completion of Machine Shop program at an accredited school or equivalent machining experience.
  
• Proficient with the use of manual and CNC machines.
  
• Ability to read and edit CNC programs.
  
• Ability to learn basic computer functions within one month of employment, including Oracle software.
