The territory is the mid south of TX, AR, OK, LA, NE, KS and MO.

OGC designs, manufacturers, and distributes a variety of outdoor gas fire tables, fireplaces, DIY burners, and other outdoor living products to the outdoor retail industry.     Our Outside Sales Representativeis a link between our sales managers and trade partners to be the Outdoor Hearth Expert and ensure the best possible sales and customer service. In this role, you will operate in your sales territory with 50% travel and 50% remote office work, working directly with OGC trade partners. Activities are focused on new account set up, selling, marketing, training, field quality, and policies/procedures.

    What you will do:

    Actively sell OGC products/programs to assigned accounts.

    Be the in field representative for all OGC customers with emphasis on larger opportunity retailers in hearth, casual, landscape and other selling channels.

    Serve as a resource to trade partners within an assigned area to best maximize exposure to customers.

    Map the opportunities in each assigned area.

    Complete outbound calls to trade partners per the call frequency based on trade partner rating.

    Set up new accounts within territory and partner with existing customers to maintain and enhance revenue.

    Travel to complete in-person OSVs (On-Site Visits) with assigned accounts.

    Present new product information and programs to assigned accounts in person via remote delivery methods such as phone, e-mail, and webinars.

    Train accounts on product, price and programs, and work in a consultative approach to increase OGCs sales volume.

    Manage marketing support programs for assigned accounts as needed (i.e. Co-Op, Showroom Displays, Authorized Dealer Program, etc.).

    Minimum Requirements:

    3-5 years of professional selling experience

    Live and travel within sales territory

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Must work effectively with cross functional groups and have strong multi-tasking skills.

    Must be self-motivated and have the ability to persuade, motivate, influence, and negotiate with others.

    Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency.
